This generation sucks ass. I've seen nothing but garbage spew from today's society. From the music, to the economy, to television shows and everything else in-between.
Society is so fucked up. I don't even know where to begin anymore! Remember back when Justin Bieber got his hair cut and it was headline news for a while. That made the headlines over a group of soldiers getting killed. I mean I know it happens everyday and that there are millions of people this happens to. But those soldiers were men and women with families, kids, husbands, wives, mothers, fathers... people who loved them dearly. And this tragic event gets overrun by some talent-less teenybopper because he got a new hair style.
The fact is that the more liberal America gets, the worse it's off. I mean come on people there is a 50% divorce rate, 40% of children are born to unwed mothers and 70% of those are born to black people. We also have the highest teen pregnancy rate in the world. But I'm not surprised with the show 'Teen Mom' idolizing what it's like to be a teenager mother. It basically saying 'it's okay to go out and have sex, who cares if you have a baby! Everyone else is doing it!' Jesus christ people, we're still technically babies ourselves and it ain't right for babies to have babies. Your not old enough, your not mature enough. I don't care what you think, it's just not right. Young pre-teens and teenagers (including adults) shouldn't go around letting men treat them like living sex toys. Where has self pride and common decency gone?
Bullying is also out of control. I know it's been around for a long time and will be long after I die. But it just isn't right. Half the parents of these 'bullies' are incompetent and weren't smart enough to put on their condom tight enough to avoid having a kid they don't want. These kids thus end up getting mentally, emotionally, physically, and sexually abused and take out their inner frustrations and build up a small wall of self esteem when they start bullying kids that are being punished by the other parents mistake.
( I'm not going to blame the downfall of society on technology. Since I do love the internet, facebook, videogames, etc... but I do think that people are getting alittle to dependent on machines. )
The majority of music sucks anymore, especially mainstream shit. Justin Bieber, 99% of rap (in my opinion), Rebecca Black, Lady Gaga, Ke$ha, etc... all of it is just a bunch of meaningless shit in my opinion. The very soul of music has literally been killed by mainstream. What happened to the meaning behind the song, what happened to the spirit that made music music? The Music Industry's objective is to make lots of money with no effort. But I haven't given up hope on music yet, mainstream wise I have but we still have our undiscovered gems. Mine are Poets of the Fall, and Trading Yesterday! Very cool bands~
TV is probably the second worst off. Just look at what has happened to Disney and the Disney Channel. It's pretty much self explanatory.

I know it's a bad comparison but you can see what happened. Old Disney made beautiful 2-D animated movies with good morals ( even if some of them turned us into little rebels xD ) and now... there just this live action shit with shitty actors with horrible cliche plots. This all goes for Cartoon Network and Nickelodeon. All good stations going down hill. Replacing good shows with shit. The worst I have to say is the new 'Looney Tunes Show'. It's just shitting all over the memorable classics.
And why are people looking up to the worst people as role models. Just look at MTV! Jerseylicious? Jersey Shore? Fake tits, fake hair, shit tons of bronzer and make-up?
