I have nothing against regular hunting as long as it's productive. As long as you use everything from the animal you hunted. The hide, the meat, etc. If you go out and kill a stag in the woods don't waste it. Eat the venison, skin it and use the hide and if you feel like it mount the head and/or antlers.
For example.. Don't go out into the woods, kill 30+ deer and just leave the bodies there to decay. While you take your dead ass back to the bar and use your hunting expedition as an excuse for a cool story to tell your buddies.

Yes there are many types of trophy hunting imo that should be outlawed completely. Don't waste the animal if your going to kill it.
